Congratulations are in order for our HipChair. It has been distinguished again on an international level. After receiving a few months ago a A’ Design Awards, this piece of furniture has been recognized now with the GOOD DESIGN AWARD, granted by The Chicago Athenaeum International Architecture and Design Museum.
These awards are a testament to HipChair’s innovative spirit, ergonomics and highly technical qualities. HipChair, designed for Sunon, redefines office work according to movement. The GOOD Design Awards, with its 70-year-history, recognizes HipChair’s innovation, just as the A’Design Awards did before. The A’Design Awards uses rigorous evaluative criteria and is granted by a jury composed of academics, professionals and Enterprise members, amongst others.

The GOOD DESIGN AWARD marks a new milestone in HipChair’s success story. It has a structure where the hips regulate the movement of the chair. Its innovative synchronized system helps control the movement of the chair through simple hip movements that are detected at the back of the chair, which enables the user to move naturally.
